Let me tell you about my experiences fishing with Russ Schnering. Every time we are down from Illinois, we give Russ a call and we go fishing. We have always had a GREAT time with Russ.   His boat and fishing equipment is top notch, his expertise is the best, his knowledge of the local fishing spots is amazing. He is very good to help with techniques (fishing in Tampa Bay is a little different than fishing the lakes of Illinois!) and it is apparent that Russ’ goal is for his fisherman clients to have a great time. I have fished all of my life in Florida waters. Most of the time I have used my own boat I moved to west Florida 5 years ago with no boat and looked for a fishing partner. I found Capt.Russ on the Internet and took a chance. As luck would have it, I found a guide that was easy going and was a lot of fun to fish with. Capt Russ always has great baits and knows where and when to fish certain areas. We always have caught fish, regardless of the weather. Inside fishing for Reds and Snook, or a few miles out for Grouper, weather permitting. Capt. Russ has a good boat for the dedicated angler and he makes the trip very enjoyable. I would recommend Capt Russ to any angler looking for a good days fishing with a real gentleman.
