Sometimes it can be a difficult decision whether to go offshore or stay inshore when planning a trip. Right now, both are filled with a lot of action. Give us a call and we can discuss the various options.
Offshore
Our offshore trips have primarily been targeting American Red Snapper. The bite has been good in 120' of water however, the sharks are getting to them before they get to the boat. We have found better success in 180'-250' of water. Mixed in with the AR's have been red grouper, scamp, and amberjack. While that far out, we have managed to troll up some blackfin tuna and even scored a wahoo and a sailfish.
Inshore
Fishing inshore is still producing snook, trout and redfish. We are having the best luck around oyster beds and mangrove shorelines on the high tides. A few tarpon have been caught near Egmont Key and along the beaches. Our four hour trips are the most popular and with the temperatures heating up, we expect to continue running those trips.
