Captain Jon Schnering

I was born in Hawaii, and Manatee County has been my primary residence since I was a year old. I grew up fishing the local waters and competed in several tournaments, winning a few of them.

I worked as my father's first mate through high school and then spent four years in the US Marine Corps. I was able to fish off the coast of North Carolina while stationed at Camp Lejeune and obtained my US Coast Guard Captain's License before leaving the military.

Taking people fishing is my passion, and I appreciate the opportunity every time I see my customers' smiling faces as they reel in the big boys!
